Rroni Hoxha - A Sick Night

i called it : " A Sick Night " and it took 1 week to me .

hope you liked it guys.

p.s : when i started to compose it , i thought it will be a soundtrack for any game , but then i started to add some progressive metal and experimental stuff in there.

best wishes ,

Rroni Hoxha

Rroni, this reminds me of the music in some of the levels in the Doom video game series.  Did you ever play it?  So yeah, I totally agree with you, it does remind me of music for video games.  it's got the prog element, and also a bit of atmospheric quality too.

how did you create this song?

no i dont know the doom ..

in the question how did i create this song i can answer like that :

im a musician , i play a guitar for a long time , and well those last days im trying to be a composer a bit..

and i decided to compose a song for a kind of games...

I took the guitar and started to compose those riffs that you heard in the song.

then i used softwares to record it , to add drumms , bass and stuff.. so thats it.

(my inspiration was the Quake II soundtracks , and as always Dream theater , one of my idols.)

RroniDT:

Definitely Video Game stuff here.

It's got a very syncopated & mechanical quality which is perfect for VidGames. I like the way you've mixed stuff hard right & left in places. The little stutters are attention grabbers. Pretty decent sounds you've got going here also.

I think what Brian was asking about how you do this is about the process.

What software are you using? What VSTs? That sort of thing.

We're interested in all the little details you wish to share.

BTW - please take the time to listen to some of the offerings from our members.

There is a lot of pretty great independent music to be heard here.

And last but not least...

Welcome to the board. Look around. See what ya like.

Aswepe , thanks for your compliment buddy .

by the way im using FL Studio 8 , and some of his own VST's  (FPC , GUITAR SLAYER) ..

im happy that you liked it and noticed the right&left channels .

As i told , i started to compose it for a video games , and for that reason all of the presets that i choose are mechanical and syncopated as you said as well.

P.S : i took a look the independent music as well here , and i really enjoyed some of them..
you guys are doing a great job , keep it up

with respect ,
Rroni H.

Hey Rroni, you've heard of Quake, but not Doom?  Wow, that's surprising.

anyway, I'm curious to know if you have any pictures of your setup, or your recording space?

oh yeah, and feel free to comment in some of the other threads.  some of the other members might like to hear from you!  (and vice versa)

Brian Dobbs , when i was only 5 i played quake II with my bro and i think there is no more multiplayer game like that Tongue , and those new versions of Quake sucks.. , nothing compares Quake II  , So i grown up now and so i remember those soundtracks , then i decided to make a bit of it on my composition. And yeah you are suprising me too , thats ridiculous how i didnt heard of Doom. anyway thats my taste Cheesy

thanks for all buddies.
