Thanks Brian! Glad you are digging our stuff We only have one track at the moment, but we are working on another 4 tunes simultaneously, 2 of which are nearly ready for the recording process, so be sure to check out our page every now and then! And yeah, I'm in Forbidden Son too, so is the drummer. We haven't been doing a whole lot with FS in the last few months really, and PW has become our priority, because we're free to write over the top prog tunes, haha! But I'd say FS will resume in the next few months and start doing a few local gigs, and writing some new material. And yeah we're really proud of the logo, that was done by our bassist (who is also my brother) Thanks again for the support!

Great stuff! Definitely let us know when you get more tracks recorded. And the logo is k-i-l-l-e-r cool. When reading the posts, i thought "a cool logo? whatever" but the spherical design is great!
Is it tough to balance 2 bands?
Thanks man Yeah we'll be recording another 2 tracks quite soon, I'll be sure to let you know about them. Yeah we were all blown away by the logo that he designed, and it only took him 15 minutes or so to design it! We're getting a bit of hassle from some people about the band name being too cheesy which I guess is true to a certain extent, but its not easy to come up with a band name, and we needed to decide on one fast. But at the end of the day, most band names are cheesy or cliche I guess...

Thanks for posting some new material. I'm going to merge this thread with the existing Prophecy Within thread as the subject relates to the same set of recordings.
Overall, I think the music you're coming up with has got some really cool proggy parts. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on recording the new songs too.
BTW, you're really talented on the guitar, it's amazing.
Hey, thanks very much! I really appreciate that! Yeah we're very happy with it. We've written another one too over the last week or so, working title "Epic Thingy" and lets just say it really lives up to its title, haha! We'll probably start recording it soon enough. As regards the recording of the material, its all done in our jamming room in the drummers house, using Cubase on the laptop. The drums are mic'd individually, and for bass and guitar we put a line in from the amp to the recording interface. It seems to be working really well for us, and we learn new recording tricks as we go, so hopefully our sound is improving every time! Thanks again for listening!

Prophecy Within Internet Radio update: Vengaence will be featured as the first song in The Prog Set during the 28 Feb 09 A'swepe Hour from Somewhere in Texas. I usually have my set lists worked out a couple of shows in advance so that's why it will air at the end of February. Standing invitation Ben: Just send me your new stuff & I'll get it on the air. Be sure to check out The A'swepe Hour from somewhere in Texas at 10AM every other Saturday at http://www.fatcatradio.com for the best Instrumental & Progressive Rock you will ever hear - OK that's a bit of a stretch. Just doing my part to spread The Gospel of Prog.
