Hey Dimi, I just listened to the first two (gardens, and the title I can't pronounce ) First thing, you have such a great Satriani vibe, and yet you have your own unique style. In other words, you have his vibe, but you are not a Satriani ripoff. I fully intend to purchase one of your CD's here very soon for sure (I allow myself to buy one new CD a month ) I thought Vania's Garden was great. After one listen I can't say I have anything to critique. Tenochtitlan Ridge was certainly a nice piece of work, but I personally did not like it as much, which is weird, because Dave and I have very similar tastes in music. I'm not sure if it was the "exotic" feel to it, but I will tell you this: my big love is music that has the guitar, keyboards, and drums playing precisely mapped out sections of music (I hope that makes sense. Dream Theatre's instrumental music is a good example). Hell's Kitchen (off of Falling into Infinity by DT) starts off with a great guitar solo over a grooving drum beat. 3/4 of the way through, everyone starts to play the same thing so-to-speak, and ends with a big unison scale. That's my cup of tea right there. I guess I'm just trying to explain that although I do love great guitar playing over a foundation of rhythms by the drums and bass, I especially love when all of the instruments play a complex arrangement together. So, not liking the Teno Ridge I think is more of it not being up my alley if you will. OK, so I just rambled a lot trying to make a simple point. I just want you to understand where I'm coming from musically. When I get the chance later, I'll listen to the other song you just posted. Rock on! Tim
